“Our tour guide had very little knowledge of why Purple Island exists or the history behind Al Zubarah Fort. In addition, our driver was a reckless on the road, driving at fast speeds. At one point, car almost skidded off the road. Other than that, the itinerary itself is so-so. Purple Island is basically a rock. Al Zubarah fort is the only one worth doing, just get a few photos and leave.”
